I visited Seattle a few weeks ago for work and decided to use a free afternoon to go up the space needle. That is what one does is Seattle, right? Anyway, on a whim I also bought tickets to the Chihuly glass museum next door because they were offered as a package deal and I had the time. The Space Needle is the icon of Seattle but the glass museum ended up being my favorite part of the trip. Each room transported you into a new world of whimsy to explore. My favorite was the sea life room. It magnificently captured the feel of exploring an underwater realm, and that I won’t forget soon. The museum left me with more delight than I’ve felt in a long time.
